Jami Schleicher, Shawnee, and Adam Bailey, Kansas City, Mo., announce their engagement and upcoming nuptials.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Patrick and Deanna Schleicher, Shawnee. She is a 2003 graduate of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and is a technician with Dr. Clifford Holt and Associates.
The prospective groom is the son of Brace and Diana Bailey, Excelsior Springs, Mo. He is a 2002 graduate of Northwest Missouri State University and is an officer with the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department.
The couple plan a Sept. 20, 2008, wedding at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee.
