Courtney Layne Gregory and Christopher Lee Burkhart, both of Overland Park, announce their engagement and upcoming nuptials.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gordon and Pamela Gregory, Shawnee. She is a 2003 graduate of Mill Valley High School and attends University of Phoenix. She is director of operations at ACS Data Search.
The prospective groom is the son of David Burkhart, Clinton, Mo., and Tammy Ambrose, Bates City, Mo. He is a 2005 graduate of Odessa High School and attends University of Phoenix. He is a route driver with G&K Services.
The couple plan a June 5, 2009, wedding in Kansas City, Mo.

Jennifer Anne Chaffee, Shawnee, and Michael Scott Davis, Overland Park, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Paul and Marsha Chaffee, Shawnee. She is a 2002 graduate of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and a 2007 graduate of Kansas State University. She is employed by the Shawnee Mission School District as a biology teacher at Shawnee Mission East High School.
The prospective groom is the son of Ray and Susan Davis, Manhattan, Kan. He is a 1999 graduate of Manhattan High School and a 2006 graduate of Kansas State University and is a member benefits consultant with Uniformed Services Benefits Association.
The couple plan to wed Oct. 11, 2008, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Overland Park.
